Terms of sale

These are the terms for buying from The Crafty Lab (thecraftylab.shop), run by Mairéad in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Buying from the shop means you agree to them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Made to order

Every item is personalised and made to order. Names and words are embroidered exactly as you type them, including accents and fadas, so please check the spelling before you pay. If you spot a mistake, reply to your confirmation email straight away; once an item is embroidered it cannot be changed.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Postage is shown and chosen at the checkout. Payment is taken in full by Stripe when you order. Your order is accepted when you receive the confirmation email; if we cannot make something (for example a blank has sold out), we will tell you and refund you in full.

Delivery

Machine embroidered items are made and posted in 3 to 5 working days; hand embroidered items take up to four weeks. Delivery times after posting depend on Royal Mail and are estimates, not promises. The tracking number is emailed to you when your order is posted. See delivery and returns.

Returns and problems

Personalised items are exempt from the usual right to change your mind, so they cannot be returned unless they are faulty, damaged in the post, or not what you ordered. If that happens, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will replace it or find another suitable solution, including a refund where that is the right thing to do.

The designs, photographs and words on this website belong to The Crafty Lab or are used with permission. Please do not copy them.
