About me
I’m Mairéad, the creator behind The Crafty Lab.
From my home studio in a small village in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, I create personalised gifts and keepsakes that are made to be treasured. Every item is carefully crafted with high-quality materials, attention to detail, and plenty of love, because I believe the most meaningful gifts are the ones made especially for you.
Our family
I’m a proud Mamaí to our beautiful daughter, Mary, with baby number two on the way. My wonderful husband, Matt, is my biggest supporter, and I’m so grateful for him! The Crafty Lab wouldn’t be possible without the support of my Mum and Dad, who not only let me use their home for my office, but are always there to help with Mary.
Of course, I couldn’t forget Murphy, our four-year-old black Labrador, who inspired the dog in our logo and keeps me company while I embroider. He may not be much use with a needle and thread, but he’s always close by!
